The problem
The panels on this building were of unknown Japanese origin, and had become heavily soiled and stained. Previously a cleaning company had attempted to clean the panels with little appreciable improvement. This building stands in a prominent area in Grimsby docks and bears the worlds largest car manufacturers name.
The solution
The building was in need of complete restoration. We used products in a test area, and found a polish that worked. The building was cleaned with a mild detergent and then rinsed to remove surface dirt. The polish was then applied and removed by hand. This removed the staining and left a protective silicon layer to repel airborne pollutants.
